CSUF physics professors Dr. Joshua Smith, Dr. Jocelyn Read, and Dr. Geoffrey Lovelace discussed gravitational-wave discoveries and the research that led to the 2017 Nobel Prize awarded to Kip Thorne, Rai Weiss, and Barry Barish.

The Parents' Voice USA has been bringing free educational events to Orange County since 2010. This was another science event, aimed to get the community excited about the mysteries of space and STEM as a whole.
